FINALLY got to spend some quality time inside and out with the new Focus ST. It was parked at the Ford Booth at this years Woodward Dream Cruise. And I finally got to take some of my own quality pictures other than looking at crap ones haha! [nutkick]

Enjoy.

To all those naysayers, you can't help but smile a little when you sit in the drivers seat (I did). It's just that cool. Only piece of advice, if you are of the overstocky bodied frame, then you won't fit in these seats. I run a buck-65 6' athletic frame and I was nice and snug [wiggle]. It looks 100 times better in person than pictures. Please don't turn this into another "should I buy an ST thread", because honestly that's just dumb (and they are of the plenty). Just enjoy the pictures. It's simply a focus with more (Jeremy Clarkson quote) "poooowwwwweeeerrr". The trim level of this car was perfect. I have the leather titanium, and walked away saying "Yeah, I could consider this". It's just a fun car. It's not a punch you in the face watch out omg there's an ST coming. It's subtle, but yet a little but different, and all around great car. [driving]

Great pics, I miss the Dream cruise I used to go every year when I still lived at home

I haven't been able to go the last 3 years because I lived down in Florida haha. It was nice to go again!

I told you guys it had the same exact hood as the standard Focus, it just looks different because the bumper cover fills in the gap between the edge of the hood and the grille opening. lol.

I've driven one at one of the events they ran and it was so much fun. I wouldn't give up my standard car for an increased payment however. If I had not already had mine and could wait I might have had to see about ordering an ST. The clutch is a bit touchy compared to what I was used to, but the power from the turbo was addictive. I sat in the pre-production one that they had a Carlisle--Leather Recaros were NICE.

Oh man, once I am not upside down, this definitely will be considered. I did the math and my payments would be 50 less than what I am currently paying. Give me 6 months. Just 6! I need 4 doors anyways.

I'm sure, based on road tests, that the brakes are adequate. But they sure look small behind those wheels. Also, now I see how they accomplished the center-exit exhaust.

Sorry to not clarify, that's a picture of the left rear wheel/brake. That's why they appear small. Ditto on the exhaust, I finally got to see for myself too.

I had a bunch more, but those were more or less the real good ones! Thanks!

Oh, haha, that makes sense. Might also explain why it's a solid rotor and not vented. Mebbe if I paid attention. [:I]

I see a PITA in the making for the people wanting a clean, shaved front emblem...

I'd probably color match the Ford badge and black out the ST if it was mine. I'm still not a huge fan of the wheels and center exit exhaust but its still a nice looking car. Might have to look into them more in a couple years, not trying to get into a new car payment for another couple of years [:)]
