I am wondering if standard Focus struts would fit SVT? if so what would be the main difference. And is there any way to tell iff you have the correct springs?
Would anyone have any take - offs as i have a 2004 SVT that has been wrecked and has a odd numbered strut on the drivers side which i think is bent because the tire is in at the top about 0.8 of an inch........... Thanks for any direction you might supply

Yes, any same-year Focus struts will fit, SVT or plain Jane.
The difference is the SVT ones are a little firmer and cost insignificantly more money.

The SVT springs I have came with a purple/yellow/orange paint stripe on them, the regular springs I removed did not have such markings. That might not be a reliable way to know.

You can get a complete set of SVT shocks/struts (front and rear) for about 180.00 delivered or have a set of springs, shocks and struts delivered for under 300.00 from Tousley Ford (Minn.), CFM (Fla.) or possibly Hillbish Ford (N.C.). You won't find any aftermarket dampers of the equivalent quality for less.
