Will the Rota slipstreams with a small (like 5mm) spacer do it like I THINK I remember? WHat if any will even if it takes a small spacer?

It depends upon the offset. The lower the offset the smaller the spacer.

Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in 15x7.5 et 35 fit with a 5mm spacer.

Sorry I forgot to add the buddy wants 15x8.5.....auto x wheels and tyres.

Tell him good luck.

He'll need fender flares as he won't fit 255s inside the stock fenders.

There also aren't much of anything available in a lightweight configuration in 4x108 that is 15x8.5

In fact, the only wheel meeting those specs I've seen is on Lorin's National Pro Solo FSP car on Kodiak wheels.

I don't think there are any slipstreams above 7.5" width.

however, the wheels i know will fit are:
Team dynamics Pro Race 1.0 15x7 et45

for wide wheels there are few options.

there are the aforementioned kodiacs (although good luck getting them to start a production run, its not worth the $$ for them now that they have the Fiske line.)

and I've had two other sets of wheels in simlar sizes that fit.

Diamond racing wheels, 15x10, 6" backspacing, requireing 5mm spacer for the spokes to clear the calipers.

next, and my current wheels is 949 Racing 6UL, 15x10 (and I test fit a 15x9), requires a 20mm bolt pattern adapter (4x108 to 4x100).

Nope, a few wheels in 15in will fit.

Just in case he wanted to go with that route I fixed the name above.

6ULs are great wheels if your friend is willing to buy the adapters, they come in 15x8 and 15x9 as well so maybe that will be a good option.

lol, thx.

I didnt test fit the 15x8, so i'm not certain if they have the same clearance...

Bump... im looking for sum new wheelz, preferably 15x7 ... any pointers other than whats listed above, OZ Ultralaggera's at 16x 7 run $238 each wheel which is a deal breaker for me, Enkei RPF1;s are a great wheel but they dont make them for domestics(excluding our bolt pattern).

My stock wheel is at 24-25lbs. I went to a drag strip last night and felt like I can shaves a few more seconds off with the right wheelz obviously.

What wheel are you referring to, the Team Dynamics (mentioned) or the 949 6ul's (pictured). The 6ul's do not come in the 4x108 bolt pattern needed to fit a Focus first or second gen. To use those you need to modify your bolt pattern (e.g. adapter) but you need to account for the thickness of the adapter as it will modify (decrease numerically) the offset of the wheel.

Team Dynamics makes one of the few 15" wheels that is known to clear SVT brakes, has the proper bolt pattern and won't necessarily cost you an arm and a leg.

Yes, Slipstreams work but good luck finding a set.

You can try contacting 18racing.com, however those that I know that went through them have had mixed results when trying to order wheels.

Having owned both Rotas (actually still own one set of these as I type this) and Team Dynamics myself you are buying a superior product by spending your money with Team Dynamics.

oh alright, im on their site right now. Question on two sizes and their fitment specs.
15x7.5: 13.5'sh lbs, needs 5mm spacer to clear front SVT stock calipers. 225/50 tires!

16x7: 215/50 tires, not sure how much more these weigh but would they clear the stock SVT front calipers and how about the Willwood BBK?

It would depend on which Wilwood kit you have.

Call Todd at TCE Performance, he has all of the info on the Wilwood pieces.

Thank you Wheel King, I miss Central Cal YO. [wrenchin]

You're quite welcome. Where in CA did you live?

And Team Dynamics wheels are top quality, I loved the set I owned.
