First off-I apologize if this has been covered before, but I wasn't able to find the answer.
I'm going to be buying some new 17" rims for my Ti--can the OEM TPMS sensors be fitted to the new rims or will I need to buy new ones? I'm thinking about Bremmer Kraft BR09s in Hyper Silver--from Tire Rack, of course.

yes. you can reuse your sensors. BUT you will need new TPMS style valve stems. i'm doing the same to my 2010 which luckily has valve stem sensors. my uncle gave me some TPMS valve stems he had lying around so that saved me a good $45+ from going to Ford for some (they wanted $12 for each one).

Yes, you can re-use the oem sensors, but you will have to replace the valve as stated above. We seel the replacements for $3 each. If you place the order be sure to do it through a link (http://www.tirerack.com/index.jsp&affiliate=AD4) so the forum get's credit on the sale. Also put in comments "Trevor please add tpms valves" and I will add that to the order and get the wheels shipped out asap.

Do the 2008's have the valve stem style or is it the band that wraps completely around the wheel? I'm not exactly a TPMS expert, either

band style....09 was last year for bands....SOME END OF RUN 09 I GUESS HAVE VALVE STYLE THOUGH TOO
