Have been working on this for four hours now, and morning comes early....

My2002 Svt had a tune from randy on it. I went to custome a few settings and reload it. The tuner was downloading and then said tune fail. Now when I go to load the stock tune it too says tune fail.

Any idea how to get a tune to load on the Svt with the sct tuner

Finally got this pos tuner to work

Pulling fuses 46 and 61 may cure that loading problem

Which flasher are you using? X3 or Livewire? I've noticed that the X3 will do this on the SVT where the Livewire works every time.

I am using an xcal 3

I saw someone do this 10 times in a row with the X3 on an SVT and on the 10th try it finally worked. The X3 must not be as compatible with the SVT ECU as the Livewire is. Try doing the flash as quick as possible from start to finish without any delays. I think if the flasher sits at one spot during the flash waiting for you to begin the next process it seems that it is more likely to fail.

My xcal3 was a pita when I tried to data log the first couple of times but I finally got it working. Glad to hear you figured it out!

The SCT LiveWire has been discontinued , the only devise that did seem to work properly on the SVT and they did away with it
