Ok I need your guys help. I'm in the process of redoing my front bumper. I have two different paints, one is rustoleum charcoal metallic the other is duplicolor ford grey metallic.
Which do you think is the match. I'm not going to say which is which just wanna know right or left?

It's difficult to really tell unless it is in some brighter lighting conditions without as many shadows. The right appears to be a higher gloss compared to the left. Try looking at it during the day and seeing which one looks like it would match up more. Also remember that your paint is 10 years older than the new paint so it might not match up completely.

It needs to be in daylight to make a decision. If the paint is metallic, it will be a hard match no matter what because of how the metallic flakes flop. I have parts painted on my car and in most light it is a perfect match, but in certain light it looks way off.

Right looks closer but that may be due to the lighting conditions.

I would also have to go with the right. That color is going to be a hard one to match.

it is metalic, do it in better light conditions with no shadws over bumper - and make both 3 parts reflect some bright object (led lamp? or bright paper?) this way you can compare gloss levels on all 3 paints :)

After seeing it in the sun light the choice was obvious. the one on the left is duplicolor the best choice.

Ah now aren't you glad we told you to do this during the daylight rather than go blindly into it. Good luck on this.
