Honestly, Ebay. I've tried calling people who have them on their site and it's always the same story: "we don't actually sell Rotas anymore." You can find RBs and Slip Streams on Ebay pretty easily. Anything other than that, though (SDR, Subzero, etc.) good question.

Rota's are FTL. They break when going over a speed bump. I wouldn't risk running such poorly made wheels. leave the Rota's for honda boys.

last i've heard is that from people who've driven their cars hard most of the time. even if all the breakage is true wouldn't that probably be expected with how light they are? wouldn't they sacrifice strength to achieve that light weight? but i didn't make this to talk about the quality, i just want to know where to find them.

Sorry, I've never liked unfounded or unsubstantiated statements, especially when most are usually based on hearsay. You need to provide some "proof". Lots and lots of Rota's are out there. I have seen them used in rally and rallycross without issues. My son has a set used on two Subarus (currently on a WRX). They have lots of miles on them and are over 7 years old. The so called damaged ones shown on some websites were clearly abused, bounced off of curbs, and used on drift cars pulling heavy g's, etc. Hell I've seen drift cars destroy Ray's, Weld's, and BBS wheels (all considered very good wheels, if not the cream of the crop). There's no evidence that Rotas fail at any greater rate than other mass produced wheels.

Not cool. I have Rota's on my Focus.

I broke a Rota wheel. It was on a car that was pretty heavily autocrossed and had a nasty bend in the lip. I would definitely buy a set of them new, though, and never think anything of it.

I know of three people who have had problems with them, one of them was my friend and the other were acquaintances. My friend bent his slipstream doing about 40 and went through a pot hole. I'm talking about everyday driving. I don't know the name of the wheel, I think it was the option, anyway, cracked a spoke during auto cross. And another pot hole bent a lip of this one other dude.

I just said I would rather invest in a stronger wheel. Maybe even the Sportmax/XXR wheels, I used a pair for drifting and have even hit a small barrier with them and they held up. They're heavy, but did the job.

I use my Slipstreams for autocross. No cracks or bends here. But to answer your question. Try 18racing.com.

Racing Lab and Wheel Dude handle Rotas as well.

Yep, potholes at 40mph could do in any wheel (not just a Rota) especially if they're wrapped with low profile tires.

This exactly.

I've owned 5 different sets of Rotas and have yet to break one. Just like anything if you abuse them they'll break but other than a handful of pictures on the internet there is nothing wrong with them.

I currently own Centerlines, Works, OZ Racing, and Rota wheels. I don't hesitate to swap the Rotas on, in fact I drove across the country and back on a set of Rotas.

Small warning! I bought my Rotas 3-ish years ago. What you will find is that, while a dealer will advertise that they fit the focus, in reality, what they stock (if they stock them at all) are 'generic fit' (note the offset!!!). When I ordered my Rotas (with the correct offset), it took 8 months to get them and I paid dearly. But the fit (don't rub, EVER) and seem to be of good quality. Also note > I stayed with 16" so as to have enough tire wall to avoid issues with pot holes. Just an FYI! (Nuther 'note'. The dealer was great. Kept me informed as to the 'progress' of my order, even let me know when they were on the boat. this is not a dealer issue, rather, Rota does not make a wheel until they have a certain amount of orders for that wheel. Hence, for the focus, this took a while!).

so the warning is to watch out for Rotas that do and dont fit the 4x108 pattern?

not quite! Almost all of the aftermarket 4x108 wheels out there have offsets more suitable for an Audi. See wheeldude as an example.

i looked on 18racing. good site it looks like but i'm guessing 4x108 would be under the Not Listed on the bolt pattern selection?

I'm pretty sure that just means that they don't make them, and you can request to have a custom set made. Not sure how much that would be, though.

Also, the whole offset thing just requires you knowing what fits your car. +20 doesn't fit on a Focus.

3 years ago, it was $200 per wheel.
