I'm looking at getting an SCT XCalibrator2 off of Craigslist (Certifired SCT Dealer) but my focus is not on the list of compatible cars, whereas the SVT is. I sent an e-mail to the seller and he said he wasn't 100% positive and didn't want to sell me the product unless he was sure. He offered for me to swing by and have him plug it in to see if it is compatible but it's about a 25 minute drive for me so I figured I'd ask on here. I googled it and I've found ZX3 Zetec's using that tuner, so I'm assuming that mine (sedan Zetec) will work just fine. Any help would be awesome, here's the link:

Yes the Ford xcal2 will work with the Focus

230 + what a custom tune would cost 150.00 buts you at 380.00 for another 40.00 you can get a custom tune and FREE tune updates as you add more NA mods from me and get the newer XCAL3

Which will not work for you. So you will be contacting Tom for a correct tune.

BTW, I use an XcalII on my car W/O issue.

Ok then 2 questions, what's the difference between an XCal II or XCal III and why won't it work if they load it with tunes from SCT for my car?

If they load it with tunes you will get cookie cutter off the shelf basic tunes not custom tunes to match your mods and you wont get any datalogging to make sure everything is right or will you get FREE tune updates as you add more NA mods later

The x2 and x3 basicly do the same thing the x3 is just a newer device

I sure can , if you have a flasher the tuning charge is 150.00 full custom tune and FREE tune updates as you add more NA mods
