Someone locally is selling these 4x108 wheels. I know that most 14" wheels don't fit the 05+ brakes, but could it be worth a shot for some nice looking mesh wheels? The guy would let me test fit them first, it's just that I'll have to drive a ways to meet him.

Man 14s are just tiny.
The other issue is finding tires, if you can get a screaming deal then maybe but I think they'll just look way to small on your car.

It wouldn't be that bad if I ran a 185/65 tire on it, a little fast on the odometer. Also a fair amount of sidewall. I'll probably pass on these, they just looked kinda cool.

I think if you had an older 4x108 car, like a cortina they could be awesome. But the body lines for the focus are just too big for 14s IMO.

i considered 14" wheels once. you can get really cheap snow tires..., they even clear mk1 front brakes and advance trac rear discs, but then i installed SVT brakes all around and 15" is the smallest now (assuming you can find the right wheels to clear)

I would go bigger then 14"

I would go bigger than 14s but the upside to them is that tires are dirt cheap.
