So as of tonight I need to buy a new driver side CV shaft. I am told you have to buy in pairs but from what I have read you in the past 15 mins you don't. If anyone can clarify that that would be helpful! Also want to eventually want to go forced inducted on my SVT[offtopic] so considering that should I buy stronger CV shafts or can OEM handle that kind of power? CFM sells SVT CV shafts but they are $280 Driver side and $350 paseenger compared to $75 at local auto store. I would do research myself but I have to wake up tom early so if anyone's up and can help that would be great! Ty

You don't have to buy CV shafts in pairs just change the one that's bad. Now about forced induction.... IDK if you have to put something stronger, as long as you don't turn the steering wheel to theside and slide and smoking the wheels that will destroy any CV shaft.

About the prices.... they should be cheaper than 250-300$ look just for the CV shaft not the whole assembly as of CV shaft and the axle. Good luck.

Don't have to worry about the CVs with boost unless you are either making major power and have GOOD traction, or in other words don't beat on them.

CV's do not need to be replaced in pairs, that would be shocks/struts, brakes, tires, wipers (well they should anyway), etc lol
