New member here. Is it true that the 4 door sedan weighs just a few pounds more than the ZX3? I've been looking into making a focus autocross car, and have seen several sedans selling for way way below the price for most of the ZX's. If it is true, I could save myself a few hundred bux and only add a few pounds.

Yes they are close in weight. They have the same wheelbase. Not sure on the specific weight but I think I heard like 16 pounds difference one time not sure though. The main thing being more glass and motors for the windows if equipped. But they are still very close.

1st off next time post in the newbie question forum. 2nd ya man it will autox just as good as the ZX3
