It may seem like a crazy question but I'm curious to know if you have to change the hub every time the bearing is changed? I asked because I changed my front bearings and hubs about 2 years ago and now they are going bad again and I am trying to save a few bucks if possible, but I will change it if I have to.

Bearings are 10-20 bucks then 20-30 to have them pressed... pressed mine at koi savage autoparts

Don't skimp on the bearings and they'll last another 100k (OEM Ford)

Make sure whomever does the pressing of bearings doesn't ruin them during the process by using the inner race to drive the outer race into place (or vice versa).
Improper installation kills as many bearings prematurely as offshore manufacturing.

Yea I found them for about $25 and the shop down the street from me does it for $25. But do I NEED the hub or can I just get the bearings?

i would recomend doing the hubs with bearings due to the fact bearing races could freeze and when pressing them out you could could crack the hub and you would need one anyway also get the snap ring they freeze and break to answer your question
