It's got the Continental "somethings" on it and they look alright and seem adequate and exibited better grip than I expected but I want something a little more dedicated to me needs.
I'd like an all season that is geared toward summer driving but is still decent in the rain and might see the occasional light snow but hopefully never.

Also is there an alternate tire size that works better on that size wheel?

The following all seasons have been getting good reviews:

General G Max, Kumho Ecsta 4x and Continental Extreme Contact DWS

The stock tire size is usually optimum for the OE wheel. You could possibly go with a 225/50-16 tire if you're seeking a lower profile tire but you need to confirm that the wheel width you currently have is adequate for that tire width. Tire manufacturers provide the recommended wheel widths for each tire they sell (check the tire specs on Tirerack's site as they provide this info as well). The 225/50 mentioned will be slightly smaller in overall diameter but not enough to to cause any significant issues.

Continental Extreme Contact DWS in the stock size it is and already called Discount Tire got 'em down to their Direct website price of $121/tire and they said they'd give me $40/tire for my stock tires but recommended Craigslist since I might get another $20 a tire. I'd be happy with $160 off for my tires.

All said and done I think I'll be just under $500 out the door. Also got quoted $209 on 15% tint at our local tint place.
