My 2008 Ford Focus just crossed over 100,000 miles!
I should note I bought the car with 35,000 Miles May 2010. It was a certified used vehicle.

I am at 82,560. I should know, I made a comment to my girlfriend earlier that it was perfectly at 82,500.0 when I pulled into my driveway. Haha. Congrats! I will be joining you soon!

so for the guys with the higher mileage... how are the cars running? have you had any serious maintenance?
does it still drive like a new ride?
05-02-2012, 07:50 PM
I haven't had any major issues at all. Just regular maintenance, I stick by the book for everything. (Aside from Oil, I use full synthetic Pennzoil Ultra so I go about 9,000 miles a change). I also had my shocks and struts done at 75K, but I did that just because I wanted to have a more firm ride. It was not needed by any means.

Only @ 17,250 miles *sad face* and usually only add ~20/day...... This could take a bit to hit 100,000
4,120 days to spitball it @ 20 miles/day or around 11 years.

87k on mine now, get that 100k soon. Bought mine brand new in May 08
05-03-2012, 02:47 PM
Bought mine last year with 32K on it and I crossed the 65K mark last week... Won't be long before I hit the 100K mark and beyond - work and back is ~105 miles a day! I would say the majority of those last 30K has been around 80mph too!

Mine's a 2009 from Oct 2008 with ~61000
Mileage will build up slower now that I commute ~0.4mi to work and ~0.4mi home
05-04-2012, 02:51 PM
106000 and the car still runs like new. 2008, I have had zero problems with this car.

I bought my 2010 SES in November of 2009 with 5 miles on it. I recently just passed 32,000 miles. Have had 2 minor issues with it, that Ford tried to ignore.. A weird squeaking from the front left tire and the front passenger belt unlatching twice when I had to brake hard in traffic.
