I feel like I have struck gold.. Here's the story...:

Ok, so my friend cut the rear body brace that goes behind the bumper, so he needed a new one, so we went to some junkyards..We found a junkyard that had a wrecked ZX3, the person ROLLED this focus, it was totaled. So we were looking at it, it had his part, plus a few more, then I looked at the dash, and under the broken windsheild I found it, the gauge cluster with a tach! I SNAGGED that up right away, was only 10 bucks! woooo!

I'd say you did VERY well. Did you get the rear sway bar, too? If not, go back and get it.

Good find. Check for other options that you don't have.

jim do you know of a how to on installing the zx3 rear sway? and a parts list of needed stuff to do this. i picked one up a while back, it is just the sway, and the end connectors(rubber snowmen) i also picked up new...(lil half oval rubbers, round on one side, with a flat surface, that go under the bracket the connects?)
i have no idea what to do now, and so it collects dust!

At some point Ford decided to quit putting the mounts on our cars. Mine is a 2k with the mounts, so it was a simple bolt-on. If you have the bolt kit, sway bar, and bushing kit all you need to do is go take a pic of a ZX3 and then go bolt it on. It's SO easy. If your car doesn't have the mounts already, then I'm not sure what to do.

Here's the scoop on the rear sway bar...Ok so since what '02 I think when they stopped making the mounts on our cars right? well, you have to drop the WHOLE suspension from the car in order to get the sway bar, and btw, Id get the sway bar, but 1, I don't got the money for it now, 2, it was missing some parts from the suspension anyways, so I don't think it would have worked..and 3, there was no way of getting it off of that car because there was a cement boulder thing in the way...4, I'm just too lazy to drive 30 some odd miles to that junkyard again just to get that suspension piece...I dont think it's there anyways...

If you don't mind pics of a rusty suspension I'll get you one tomorrow. That's when I'll see my baby again.

rust is fine by me. i just need to know how to do, so this thing can be put to use. am i correct in assuming that since i am a 2k1 i have the mounts drilled? from there is it just a simple bolt up job.
a product list would also help. i told you what i have, what elso dio i need?

btw, can someone tell me how (or where to find the instructions) of replacing the standard (without tach) gauge cluster with the tach one?

dont jack a thread!
btw, it is just a plug and play. unplug the old, hook up the new. simple as that.
