I'm finally doing my full rebuild, done got the block in the hatch and the head on my table. Trying to set my lash but I'm in need of some different sizes. taking it to the machine shop to have it all mic'ed, see what I got and what I need, was planning on just gettin em from the dealer but thought maybe someone on here's got some.
I also Got the full rebuild kit and it turned out to be non svt. So if anyone has a new set of svt rings and bearings I'd be interested in buying them, otherwise I'm getting the rings from CFM and clevite bearings. Been taking pics of the tear down and will continue taking pics of the rebuild.
Would love any tips and advise that might help me.
The car did not break down and was running beautifully, just thought shit, 140,000 miles, may as well do a full rebuild. New wheel bearings, new brakes, new control arms, new bushings, struts, coils, mounts, fs werks stabalizer, timing component kit, pretty much everything. After I get this all done I'm customizing the interior.
