just wondering if anyone has begun to contemplate replacing the svt/zetec with an ecoboost as yet? would the bellhousing bolt pattern match? is there room under the svt hood? etc

isn't even out yet, besides it'd be much much cheaper to turbo a zetec/svt zetec than do a swap on something that's brand new

i understand that the ecoboost is new and pricey. but someone out there (beside me) has to be giving it some thaught.

besides boosting a zetec won't get you the direct injection, and other 2012 features.

there has been a lot of development in the last 10 years!

as of now, it's unknown what is exactly needed as no one can get the engine. ANYTHING is possible with the right amount of money.
