I'm getting ready to swap to a zetec, but I am not sure about to transmission. I already have a manual tranny in the car, will it bolt up to the zetec? Or do I need to get the transmission with the motor? Also anyone know of any step by step walk thrus on this swap, mainly the wiring portion. I searched but was unable to find anything really detailed on the subject.

the transmissions are different the spi uses an ib5 and the zetec uses a mtx-75

Do I need to get a new shifter to work with the zetec or can I reuse the one ive got?
