is there a cam that i can put in my svt focus that will give noticable power gains with out making it horribly sluggish on the low end. i no that the vct will prob be delted when swapping cams but i figure it might be worth it.

Most ppl agree that the most productive power mods you can do to an n/a SVT is a tune first, then an ORP or HFC, then a larger throttle body and after that a 2 1/2" or 3" exhaust. Theres plenty of evidence suggesting that the SVT cams aren't maxed out w/the factory set up(It would be the very last thing you would change).

while racing motorcycles over the last almost 40 years has been that if you can't get the correct flow into and out of the engine all the extra bumps on the cam are rendered ineffective. So as cmajaa recommended work on the intake and exhaust flows before or in conjunction with a cam(s). Because if you change one (intake) you almost certainly have to match that with an exhaust cam or again you will not have matched flows into and out of the engine.

ok thanks.. i was already planning on the k&n drop in filter, 67mm Tb, borla 3in exhaust, and a tuner before the cams, i was just wondering if 800 bucks for cams would be worth it

800 bucks vs. the gain
800 bucks wins every time, unless it's N2O lol

What cams are you thinking. I want to do a similar build but Idk what would work best. I'm considering 11.5 : 1 compression and 285/250 cat cams. Power band from 3-redline I believe.
