Just changed my plugs and wires (Motorcraft copper & Taylor wires). When pulling out the old plugs I noticed oxidation/rust on the plugs and old boots. Is this a problem?

I also have lots of oil on the plug near the VCT solenoid. I need to replace it, any good suggestions on where I can get the part cheap? I have already been quoted $70 from one dealership. Rockauto does not carry it.

old vs new on my svt... 103k on my engine. yes its normal. and if you have an svt platinums not the coppers are the way to go PERIOD/
