Your dsi clip may have broken, i believe stuck open is the result of it. You will hear the dsi control module working, it has like an electrical motor sound

I just had the same problem, mine ended up being the IMRC actuator. I just installed the new one a few days ago and so far the code has not come back. If its not your clip you can try and open the actuator (located in the drivers side wheel weel) and look for broken solder joints but I didn't find anything wrong in mine, I even reflowed some of the solder on some parts that are known to break but it didn't help mine.

you might as well get a new throttle body the runner control is made out of ceramic! i had the same problem and bought a aftermarket one off ebay make sure the trim is not to big so you dont have to get a different tune!

I dont think throttle body has anything to do with it. Afaik the cel is triggered by the imrc control not sensing movement which would be caused by a broken clip, stuck runners, stuck cable, or faulty actuator.

Are you kidding me? I just searched "P1518" and found 149 results JUST on FF.com. Come on, you have to try a little harder.
With that said, first check your DSI Clip (use the search button), it may be broken. If it is not broken, you need to buy a new IMRC Actuator and its about $90-ish from Tousley Ford (use the search button again). It is something you can change yourself, so that will save you some money instead of taking it to a shop.
Good luck.

Unfortunately the price has gone up but Tousley Ford still has the best price on them. I order mine form them about 2 weeks ago, got it quickly. Its pretty easy to install, got rid of my check engine light and I was able to pass smog [thumb]
