Hi im new at this and i just got my focus and i dont know what catagory it falls under in terms
of ztech or spi. My car is the 2.0L LX version, the reason im asking is that i dont know what its
consider so i dont know what intakes to buy. And if u can help me can u tell me what will fit
my car. thanks

allot of things are personal prefference, aim cai seems to be a popular one,as does the steeda shortram. mcnewsautomotive.com has a real nice intake for about 350 ;) thats one im gonna go for when i get the cash.

if you have an lx its an spi, to get a zetec intake to fit you need either a 60 mm TB of a 65 mm Tb of a mustang first

or from bdr(BlackDiamondRacing) they make a 60mm t/b. with the larger t/b you will get better throtle response (feel like more power), and it will alow you to use any intake made for the zetec. there are way more options for inakes if you have a zetec, so replacing your t/b will not only help out the feel of your car, it will also alow for more intake options.
