Okay. Here are the guidelines by RSVT170
- No Rules
- Just try and mimic the image as closely as possible.
** Obviously, the image will vary as it will not be the same car, but try and match the background, composition, and effects if any. This will be quite subjective, but just try to copy the feel of the original image. **

I say let's put up a photo once every 2 weeks. Give everyone a chance to try and mimic the photo of the chosen member in 2 weeks.

I'm probably going to retake the photo and edit a new version tomorrow (cleaned the wheels up), but for now, this is what I've got:

BTW, 2011 SE, that looks good ... I don't think you had to put RSVT170's logo on your photo.

I guess I thought it'd be more about mimicking the style, processing, and "look" of the picture, not using photoshop to clone the first picture.

I agree, but the first one's description was "copy this as closely as you can" with "no rules". So I did exactly that, knowing that skills in Photoshop aren't part of it. With the photo I post for the next challenge, it will most definitely be impossible to mimic it exactly, since you can't do so without coming to New England.

You'll see once I post. I originally wanted to put up a macro shot, but obviously that isn't really fair since not everyone has a macro lens.

I'll go through some of my stuff and will post something up tonight when I get back from work!

The key here is to mimic the STYLE. Doesn't have to be at night. Am I allowed to give hints about how to take this kind of photo, or is part of it figuring out what you need to do?

Boooo...EXIF data's gone.

Guesses:
REALLLLY long exposure. Maybe a couple minutes...
P'raps using a ND filter to get the exposure even longer.

I would say let us try and figure it out before hinting technique.

By the way, smart move on the EXIF data. Definitely get's the people trying with out cheating. [;)]
