can you legally do that? thats like rolling back the odometer on an older car to make the car seem 'younger' for resale. i do believe the ecm also keeps track of the total mileage on vehicle. just my initial thought when i read your post. don't get yourself in a jam later down the road. sorry.

he didn't mean to roll them back. I believe he was hoping someone would have an old Svt cluster with around the same mileage as his new motor has.

Call Ford/Lincon salvage in Rancho Cambodia, CA.

I was looking a while ago and they had one in Utah or AZ with just over 56k on it. They have a parts hotline and can try to find you one. Make sure you pull yours first and look at the paper/sticker on the side. there is a letter code they will need to get the correct one for you. Wrong code = won't work

I know on my 04 Mustang, the mileage was stored in the ECM, not on the cluster itself (since it is digital and not the analog like on older cars).
