hey guys, somewhat of a dumb question but where can i find my ecu number on a 2010 focus ses? there is no sticker on the passenger side door and i cant find the number on the ecu itself. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

The ECU would be located behind the Batt , if that doesnt work use the xcal and get me the calid and I can convert that to a ecu code

where is the calid on the x3?

Plug the xcal into the obdII port then go in the xcal and find get xcalid

thats what im having trouble doing. i plugged it in and everything but i cant find anything that says xcalid. can you give me step by step directions once im on the xcal.

ok thanks a lot. i have no experience with this stuff

On the x3, plug it in and scroll one menu to the right to the "vehicle info" menu and press select. From there, scroll 2 menus to the right again to "vehicle info" press select and it will tell you to turn the key on. Follow the prompts and it will display the strategy of the vehicle (7 digit number something like FDJGxxx.)
