She hasn't hit the street yet. I know........ The turbo is mounted, oil and coolant lines are run, exhaust is tomorrow, and intercooler piping is almost done. I work on it when I have the time. Between a 60+ hour workweek, three kids, and two houses my time is more than fleeting. I had an issue with the return line being blocked by the windage tray, but I took care of that a few hours ago. The exhaust is being welded as we speak, and the intercooler piping is done save for some tweaking. It is a matter of time before she's eating pavement.

60+ hours now. I get paid for 48, but in the winter when things are slow I still get a 48 hour paycheck. It's a sweet deal, trust me. If I don't use the "banked" hours I get a nice fat paycheck to cover the difference.

I fired her up today and the turbo sounds sweet! Not as hearty as my Thunderbird, but still sweet, especially from under the hood of my sedan. Sleeper fo sho! It gives me wood to see the long-idle boost gauge jump to life.

I'm with you bacc! We all know it's an autotragic and isn't designed for the abuse it's about to recieve. I will tell you this:

Tonight I hit 10psi on stock internals, with a stock blow-through MAF setup. Idles fine, runs fine. Intercooler works well, no more (Thank God!!!) oil leaks. Dropped the incoming oil pressure a bit and all is well now. At first I was blowing oil everywhere because the pressure was too high to the turbo. Tranny shifted with no problems. Now I didn't mash the hell out of it, but at part throttle it runs like it did on a full out run before boost. 19# injectors and stock MAF. I don't recommend it, but for the brief time I ran it she took 10 psi rather well. No deto, and with the SCT chip the fuel was there as there didn't seem to be any deto. 42# injectors will be here tomorrow, so it's looking good so far. Lentech or Performance Automatic will be getting a call from me very soon. If it's too expensive, which I'm feeling it will be, I plan on doing the MTX swap over the winter. I'd just as soon keep the automatic as the boost will be constant. I have an HKS BOV, but for the minute it is in the trunk. I'll probably install is sometime, but with a blow-through setup a BOV goofs p the MAF.

See ya!!
