WEll I have ben looking around and turbos and I seen Toms on his page and its been the most appealing to me, problem is hes in North Carolina and Im in Michigan, has anyone had there car shipped there for the work done or does it have to be an in person thing?

If you drive there, it will take about half the time to drive back. Because you will have a new turbo. But I couldent drive for that long anyway.

He can send it out to you so it can be done by yourself or a mechanic. What he has been telling me that the turbo kit is easy to install but you need to take your time. Good choice for Tom's kit

Hell I would just take a vacation down there and let him work on it while you enjoy the time down there. Carolina is beautiful.

I'm only worried about reliability and quality of Tom's turbo. It puts alot of power down but I don't know if I'm going to blow the engine in the process. The Precision Turbo tested by Sport Compact seems like a very strong turbo and it also looks a little bit more reliable.

Am I worrying too much about Tom's turbo? And is the Precision as good a turbo as it has been shown?

i dunno about the precision though man. SCC says they had to do a bunch of fabricating to get it right, such as the oil pump relocation... but they also said that they did a lot of that stuff for preference. i'm waiting for tom to put his two cents in on this thread though.

^^Isn't that because the Precision kit that they installed was for the Zetec, not their project SVT?

My kit can be shipped or installed here ,,I have many kits out there now running for a long time now problem free
