I have finally convinced daddy to let me take the vette out for and afternoon. there is a kid around here, maube young 20s, who drives an srt-4 with stage 1 upgrades.....who would win. I have driven the vette before its a 6 speed coupe bone stock for now. The engine is not quite to its break in point....any help is greatly appreciated.

your dad's vette will kill the SRT-4...it wont even matter how good of a driver you are, people that said its gonna be up to the driver might be on crack

the vette will take that srt no matter what,,,,dont care from a roll or a stop,,if u have any skill driving,,,,,next thing is though,,,,should u do it? (dads vette) remember he probably worked his whole life to finally get that car......

The srt-4 has a stage one mopar upgrade and unless she knows how to drive a rear wheel drive car she might spin the entire race so this going to be a drivers race

whenever you're done racing him just post who won, therefore we can all either be right or wrong

Well just be safe. My dad was cool with me racing his car (with him in it). But after making that assumption and racing a friend one day after school, i totalled the car racing up a twisty road. My dad has never been the same about me driving his car since.
So just make sure that it is some kind of controlled enviorment.

Seriously dude, the new srt-4 I just saw one on one of the magazine covers with the 400hp or the biggest power they'll ever achieve was like 12.5 on 1/4 so, that thing won't even be able to keep with you to 30 mil/h cause you'll dust him. I don't take it's worth racing him. you need to pick on your size, such as a cobra and maybe the cobra will dust you...

umm i dont think the fastest time is a 12.5. this is a time of a stock SRT-4 with manual boost controller set to 18 psi
