I've picked up a new focus 2.0 GDI duratec on Friday.
I've a couple of questions ?
Which grade of oil to use in this engine.?
How to remove the glove box (cubby hole).
Where can I find a source of switched and unswitched 12v dc to connect an under dash power socket for use with gps equipment.
The normal socket in my car seems to be unswitched. Leaves the gps on all the time.

You didn't say what year Focus you bought but congrats on buying one. Can't answer some of your questions but here in the U.S., my 2011 SES has two 12V DC sockets at the bottom of the front center console and both stay HOT all the time. So, unplug anything you don't want to stay on. That's the way they come from the factory.

The oil is 5W-20.

He has a GDI, or Diesel.
