The car is a 1998 Grand Prix GT that has some issues. Issues like how she doesnt take care of it, and rusted up peice of junk is a good way to describe it. The only thing that is good about it is the strong running motor. I was driving it this morning and the low fuel light came on and was on E. But the night before my wife said it was on about 1/4 of a tank, and had 100 miles to E on the computer. It wasnt parked on any inclined surface in a safe apartment complex, so IDK about someone syphoning the gas. Any ideas? [8] Also I did not detect any puddles on the ground either.

Fill it up and track the mileage...most likely the float in the tank is messed up. I know a lot of people with older GMs and have the same problem.

Yeah, that's why they force you to replace the whole fuel pump module instead of just the pump. They don't make them like they did in the 80's. LOL
