I've created this thread so that we can get all of our voices together in one spot for all to see. Let's decide on a time and place to meet before we head on down to D&B.

This is a great idea! I don't know the area that well, I've only been here a couple months... so where ever it's decided that we go to I'll need an address so I can get directions.... I'm in between SF and SAC...

RR...what way do you plan on getting to Milpitas?? I am extremely south of you. I don't think I will drive to Sac for a premeet, because Livermore is pretty much due west for me. I think I would be out of the way. If you drive near me, I would think about stopping by though.

livermore's close to me too.........i'm in brentwood, its in the middle of sf and sac, so one of the two seems like it would be a good meeting place, hop on the 580 and go!!! get some breakfast of something, maybe 9:30 or 10 ish??

Sorry all, I have had an extremely busy week and have been unable to get back to FF. This weekend I will look at a map and begin to figure out somewhere that is on-the-way for all of us. Don't worry, I'm not going to say meet in Sac or SF or anything crazy like that. Looking forward to this trip! I'll get back to you all probably Saturday. Late.

livermore would be awesome, dublin 's cool too, the hacienda area's got some great stuff, food wise........or brentwood too.........i'll get us reservations for food at denny's!! lol, i crack myself up sometimes. but seriously, the more focal exposure the better!!!! TEAM FOCUS NORCAL RULES!!!!

Hey, ya'll, sorry I missed my post Saturday. I went to a party Fri night and didn't get back home until Monday. Delta, how well do you know that area around there? I'm from Fl and I really don't know this area very well at all. I briefly looked at the map, only to find that Milp... isn't too far from Fairfeild or San Jose. Someone mentioned something about meeting at the 580 intersection, from what I saw, not too bad of an idea, however, we need to know extactly where to meet. Is there some sort of restaurant or something that we can meet at for breakfast?

i know the area alright. of course, i know my hometown better that the rest, so i will have bias. close to me there are alot of breakfast places : Denny's, Mimi's cafe, Perko's Cafe, and lots more that prob, mean squat right now.............if we meet around vasco, say in brentwood or livermore, its about 1/2 an hour to the 580/680 interchange - then free sailing from there.....dublin's also got some great new build-ups, i will look into it if we can decide on a city, or general area - i don't mean to be too biased and put everyone else off

I may be bringing a friend and he works Saturdays, but if he gets off early enough I could make a Livermore/Dublin premeet. Let everybody know where at...starbucks...McDonalds...whereever. Anywhere in there and I would try.

Hey, sorry all, I just took a week long vacation (good time). Any way, I see that we have two votes for Livermore. As I see Dublin is the absolute central location. Delta, perhaps you can have the meets at two diff locations? Like Denny's for breakfast, AppleBees for Dinner. Also, what is a good time, I mean, how far is it to Mil...? Again, I don't know the area very well, so please give directions/address so that I and the others can find the place. Thanks!!

Sounds good to me...I don't know the bay area that well either. I am not positive that I will make it to the premeet, but I am going to try. Kind of depends on when my friend gets off work.

yeah, i want dublin for the post meet - check out that thread for details, i wanted antioch or brentwood for the premeet, but it seems more ppl want livermore, so it might take a little bit longer for me to get a spot there - i will post a location on monday, tuesday at the latest. so, unless there are any new votes, it will be dublin for post meet g2g, and livermore for pre meet g2g? are we all good with that (no brentwood, [V])..............sounds like a plan to me...........[8D]

Yes, that is how it would work. For those hardcores...drive to premeet, drive to D&B, cruise, drive to Dublin, drive home. Now only if we can confirm a location in Livermore.
