Well I put my K&N AirCharger on yesterday and I must say that it helped a lot. It helped with throttle response, mid-range and upper range power, it makes the car sound a lot deeper and it a also makes a sweet whistling/sucking sound. The guy in the service dept at my dealership told me that it would make my check engine light come on like I mentioned in a previous post. He said that the oil from the filter would build up on the MAF and thats what makes it come on. At first it did not. Today I went for a drive and looked down and it was on, so I went back home and took the neg cable off and took the MAF and Filter off. I took some Isopropyl Alcohol and wipped out the inside of the MAF being very careful of the little wires inside. I then put it back together and hooked the cable back up and the light went out. I was very happy to see this. When I clean it next time I will be sure not to put a lot of recharge oil on it before installation. Thanks for reading.
Also Please tell me if ya'll got an svt package in the mail after purchasing your svtf. Any cerficates, etc. Thanks

"whistling/sucking sound?" that doesnt sound right. maybe its your car wheezing from not enough air getting to the car because the filter is oil-logged.

whistling or sucking is normal for an intake, especially a short ram

Port the stock TB and the whistling will go away.

Let's see a dyno run before we start assuring everyone that it adds power.

are you saying that his intake isnt adding power?
cause i think we can all agree a CAI or short ram will produce more power then stock.

my brother in law had a filtercharger on his truck, and it made a whistling noise too. seems to be the trend with them.

When reapplying oil, make sure you have even light coverage. Also let it set and soak in for an hour before starting the car.

I did indeed mean seat belt covers. Sorry about that I was just re-firing at him about he's earlier comment.
