FYI -

If you have a Twitter account, and you have ordered a new Focus (or a new Ford in general), contact @FordCustService. By providing them with the dealer code and the order number for your vehicle (which should be on your build sheet), they will provide you with the most up-to-date information you can get for your car.

The provided me my VIN, let me know that my car was a week ahead of schedule for being built, and have also supplied me with the ETA on dealer arrival.

I'm not sure who Ford has working in their social media department, but whomever is it, they are extremely nice and will answer any questions you have. Highly recommend looking them up.

My order sheets has a date of 7/18/2011. Which now that I think about it, is an EXTREMELY fast turnaround from order, to build to delivery....supposed to have mine next week.

I'm wondering if my location (Michigan) has anything to do with the speed of the process this has taken. I know the Focus is built here in Michigan, and the factory is MAYBE 2 hours by road from the dealer...so that's probably played some part. Though I've never heard of a build going that quick from start to finish..or at least have never experienced it myself.
