Can't seem to find a base SEL but my dealer found me a SEL with 302a package which has leather trimmed seats. What exactly are those in the SEL? Where is the leather the entire seat? Or just the "trim?" How does it look? Are they the same seats as the base SEL in terms of width or are they the more sporty seats? Can't seem to find info on them.

Posted via FF Mobile All leather seats are sport seats, and yes they are full leather.

Thanks couldn't figure out since it said "leather trimmed" if there was a difference between that and full leather.

Man, Ford is not making it easy to buy a Focus- they simply are impossible to find in a base upper level model.

If they are true to industry practice, 'leather seating surfaces' will be the deal.

Why not just order your new SEL from the factory and get it built exactly the way you want it? It does not cost any extra. You don't have to buy what they have in inventory in the field.

because it takes 8 weeks. I need a car now AND my $750 expires 7/31 but they are sending me a new one good til Sept 15th. I just don't think I can go another 2 months. My old cars registration expired and I don't want to pay to renew it- plus have to get smogged.

I doubt it is full leather at this price pint. The sides and backs are usually vinyl, even on aftermarket leather kits and such. The difference is hard to tell, but the grain is slightly less distinct between the two.

It's actually fairly high quality leather, compared to other vehicles like my 2010 fusion, which was a synthetic blend. Yes all cars less than 50K, only the seating "surfaces" are leather, meaning seat sides and backs are synthetic, in other words the parts you don't sit on.
