Very cool story.

I spotted a nice SVT focus in there too.

For anyone who is looking to copy/paste the link, you can find it at http://www. thefordstory.com/our-articles/cars/Boss%20302/check-out-the-collector-cars-that-ford-employees-own/

Remove the extra space after the www. to get the link to paste correctly (forum keeps trying to make links out of it).

So what happens if a Ford employee brings a Chevelle to the car show? Are they disgraced forever? Fired? [hihi]

There are some nice rides there, I like that slammed F100. Didn't expect to see tractors in the mix but that adds some variety.

Your quote reminds me of back when I worked for an automotive supplier. When I went to visit GM plants, you sure didn't drive anything but a GM rental, and god forbid you show up in an import.

I was thinking about this too. But, from a different perspective. How do Ford engineers and management keep an eye on what the competition is doing? Surely they must buy and drive competing models?

How does John explain to his coworkers why he's driving a Mazdaspeed 3 when the car has been secretly bought by Ford to test out the competition?
