Just wondering what a fair price is. I found a shop that looks like they do a good job, but I just don't know what to expect for a price.

Around the $50-$60/per is about the going rate for wheels.

hmm I got a quote from them of $125/wheel and $150 if they have to dismount tires

...guess I'll keep looking for another place. Thanks.

Posted via FF Mobile ^^^ Seriously, you getting gold flakes in them too? Thats robbery. You might as well just buy new wheels in the color you want.

Damn, I called about three other shops in the area all of them said the same price. They must be price fixing or something.

Guess I'll keep looking.

Okay we are talking about one of the highest cost of living areas in the country. But at least I would ask for a kiss.

There's a place in Jessup, MD called AFI Powdercoating that charges around there as well. Route 1 and 32, little industrial park. Even more if you want something coated with a color they don't stock, but most places have a similar policy. I got all my suspension components and brackets coated there, very reasonable.

Most shops here are about $40 to $50 per wheel
