Yahoo, I finally got the dealer to replace my clutch. The service manager that was there knew all about the Revised clutch and flywheel replacement. They could never "hear" the rattle when i wasnt there. I took it in about a half hour ago and he sat in it with me and saig yup, i hear it. I even had a paper printed off with all the part numbers, but they didnt need it. He said we will order all the parts needed and will call me when they have it. I am so relieved to have this replaced. I only have like 2 months of the warranty left. lol. anywas i wil post up the results of the replacement.

Hmmmm. Clutch is only 1year/12,000 miles.
How'd you get the Dealer to go for replacing it?
That's good news if they are extending the clutch-fix past the normal limits.

I was worried about the same thing. I asked the sales manager and if there was a "Defective" part they will replace it. A normal clutch would not go out at 16000 miles. Anyways yea it is the 3/36000 warranty. All i did was have him sit in it and listen to the rattle. He said yea as long as it is rattling or making an abnormal noise they will cover it. I have a feeling my dealership is a little more cooperative when it comes to warranty work, which is hard to find. I mean they reflashed my ecu without any questions.

I want to know how well the new clutch responds to abuse if your willing to test it out for me with a few hard launched after your 500 mile break in period!

O yea, I will have to at the track. That is the only thing i am worried about is the break in period. Anyways i will let you all know how it performs at the track.
