: 02 and 03 tunes the same?

i have a xcal 2 with some tunes that were in an 03 focus svt.. i was wondering if i could install it in my 02 fsvt and if the tunes are the same for the 2 years..

If the ECU code is the same and the calibration code is the same, yes.

You dont have to match the CALID and ECU codes on the SVT like most cars , I would be more worried who did the tune and what mods the other SVT had the tune was made for

the tunes were made buy someone that used to do them for fsvt a few years back but is no longer in business. ones performance and the other is highway mode. i forgot the name.... thats what conserns me the most is if the person was good at tuning why is he not around anymore...

Probably sets the cruising Lambda a bit lean to save fuel. But I doubt it'd really save much money at all.

There really isnt such a thing , Its just a way for tuners to sell you another tune

i have no clue what it does eather.. i got a xcal 2 with a fsvt i bought and took the programmer for my other fsvt.. it deff says #1highway #2 performance.. lol... it was tuned by a tuner that used to be big on fsvt.. ill power up the xcal when i get a chance and get his name

i hooked up my sct and its a tune from wayne from hia.. theres a street tune and a highway tune on it..not sure if i should install or delete and get a new set of programs.. im just a little tight on money but i hate the damn bog at lower rpm's
