I replaced the thermo housing on my moms focus a year ago and now it seems to be dribbling fluid ever so slightly in the front, right above one of the top coolant hoses. Since the leak seems really slight right now, any rec'ds on a gasket sealer or other fix to try to stop the leak rather than do the whole replacement all over again. thanks.

Is it a Zetec? I went thru several housings and hoses in 8 years with mine and my only advice is to do the job right when the leak is small because they get large fast. Check the hoses first, they are fairly easy to replace then look into the dorman housing from oreilly or rock auto since you have a few days (in theory) for it to ship to you before it completely blows. Also change the valvecover gasket if its leaking oil on the sides of the engine since that can cause early thermostat housing failure.
good luck, this would get better answers in technical section

It's a zetec and I've already replaced the valve cover gasket....whats a dorman housing- an aftermarket thermo housing?
