Looking at getting into a 2003 SVT 2D InfraRed ( non EAP version) that has all available options and very low miles (under 18k ! ) The car is spotless and garage kept. What is a fair offer to make on it ? Should I plan on new tires and timing belt due to it being 8+ years old ? Going to check it out this Sat 6/18. Owner is asking $10,500.....way off KBB and Edmunds est.

I know, it's hard to believe the mileage but the car has been driven by an older gent and I guess he just drove it on weekends. It's all stock but for the K&N filter. I can't wait to look at it and I hope to talk him way down on his asking price so I can do the timing belt and put a nice new set of softies on it !

good luck! I would consider this a good buy if you can get it for less than 8k.

7-8k is all this car is worth, really ? I guess he thinks it's some sort of rare collector car. What sort of repairs would the dealer have covered when it was under warranty that were known issues. (things I should make sure were taken care of so I don't have any $urpri$e$ down the road) Any TSB list on the 2003 out there ?
