Ok so I know the normal way to shave a bumper is the whole fill in with a filler, what I am wondering is can I literally "shave" it with sand paper and re paint? I mean just smooth it out completely with sand paper and re paint. It seems like it would work fine and be free besides paint?

I did some shaving on my euro bumper. but it was very little. I sanded some of the body lines off, but a word of caution, too much sanding in one area may weaken the integrity of the bumper. Look into a flexible filler that wont crack like bondo will.

That's probably what I should do... Its just so expensive for that stuff. But better safe than sorry plus it will likely end up cheaper in the long run... Thanks for the input =)
