Hahaha, you're right. I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. Now that's a custom, it's so damn custom it doesn't even have to have things like headlights that are the same height off the ground.

I just bothered to actually look at his site... I don't want to step on any toes but his location kind of explains some of it. Carmel and Monterey are nice places that eccentric people seem to enjoy living out their years. The Google street view of his house shows he gave it the same treatment -- it's red with a keen yellow racing stripe.

I think the appearance that the headlights and grille are not symmetrical might possibly be an illusion. Would have to see more pics from different angles to be sure.

I was wondering last night though, those headlights aren't even mounted at the same angle. Therefore the light spread and throw wouldn't be the same. Ipso facto I don't think it's legal to drive...

The lack of symmetry could be an illusion created by the nausa you get from looking at it.

I'm sure there is a ricer out there drooling over it and wishing they had $20k to waste on that monstrosity, and that makes me sad.

Look at the build pictures, there is at least one head-on shot taken while the car was bare sheet metal, and yes, it appears the passenger side sits a little higher than the driver's. I'm not even sure they rest at the same angle. I'm guessing the guy either thinks he is better than he really is, or he's getting older and perhaps has yet to admit to himself that his skills aren't what they used to be.
