Can you pop out the rubber channels on the door panel against the window or do I have to pop off the entire door panel?

When I got my windows tinted, I took it back because I thought it was bubbling up. We discovered that the channel at the top of the window was textured and when the windows were rolled up all the way after tinting, they dried to the pattern of the texture. Have you ever seen it? If you take a look inside of your window channel where the window rolls up, it looks and feels like it is textured. This texture transferred to my tint when it dried. I also have the scratches, they run vertically and appear every 4 or 5 inches I think. Some of them look white and they are only as long as depth of the window channel. john m. 07-15-2011, 06:05 PM I just paid a pro shop to tint my 08 with that new ceramic type tint. The installer had no problem getting the film well below the door line without removing any panels. I have noticed no scratches showing up on any windows with the scratch resistant ceramic film that was used.
