I was looking through the big manufacturers' sales figures for May, and it turns out the Focus is doing very well relative to its peers:
1. Chevrolet Cruze - 22,711
2. Ford Focus - 22,303
3. Hyundai Elantra - 20,006
4. Honda Civic - 18,341
5. Toyota Corolla - 16,985
6. VW Jetta - 16,671
The Cruze was slightly ahead, but considering how new the 2012 Focus is and the fact that I can't see any in dealer lots when I drive by (and I've driven by several in the last few days here in Houston) the Focus is looking very good.
Of course, if Toyota and Honda weren't so supply-constrained right now they'd probably still be in the podium spots, but I think the Focus is doing well regardless.
