Hey I'm new here (so pls don't flame me if this is the wrong forum). I'm from Amsterdam, the Netherlands and I own a '99 ZX5 1.4mtx (mignight blue or.. something). I've been checking the forums for some time now but never really registered till now. I've always wanted to make this thing go faster, but never really got that far as it is, after all, a 1400cc engine [paranoid] So all I have done so far on my car now are 18" OZ Superleggeras and a K&W Variant 2 suspension kit. Anyhow, as the topic title reads, a greasemonkey I know came across a ST170/SVT "kit" (engine, exhaust, trans, front&rear axle, brakes etc.) for a nice price [thumb] . Originally he was looking for a cheap 2.0 engine/trans/etc. to tune the hell out of, but when he saw this he rang me up immediately and I almost suffered a heart-attack, or well, it skipped a beat anyhow [:)]. Ofcourse I'm not gonna let this pass so I'm wondering, has it ever been done? (Keep in mind I'm sticking with my current stock Euro look, so it'd make for a pretty nice sleeper right? )

edit: I'll post pics soon, we're getting started on monday

You'd also need an SVT computer, and who knows about differences in the wiring harness!? I haven't seen it done, so you'd be the pioneer.

I'm thinking that swap would be very involved.
