Hi, so I stumbled upon this site while googling around about the focus foglights and what not.

Thought it was pretty interesting so I decided to join ^_^

So I own a 2008 Focus SE

It doesn't come with foglights however. I don't exactly know how to install foglights all I know is that it has black place holders where the fog lights should be.

Is installing them easy? Is there a wire I can just connect the lights to and then use the switch? Or do I need a whole new switch and what not :(

Thanks, that was actually helpful! Only thing I didn't like there was the fact that if your car doesn't come with fog lights installed you have to wire the pigtails and what not :\

was kinda hoping that the SE would atleast have the pigtails so I could just plug n go :/

Some of the models will have the foglight harnesses wired up to the front bumper. Im not sure if the SE would have them or not. I think the only thing you will need is a relay, the foglight switch, and the fog lights/shroud things if the wires are there. You can jack your car up and poke your head underneath (USE JACK STANDS!!) and check if there are connections tucked there.

You sir, are a great person, I shall go and check and see if I have some connections there. :)

Edit: Guess I'm gonna have to check some other time, the jack is in the other car..

They did that on older cars, but I think Ford quit pre-wiring all cars by 2008.

Not a 100% certain, but that's what has been posted. Still worth a look see.

Let's hope they made the 2008 ones that last pre wired ones :(
