Hello guys...
I have the European SVT brother, the ST170.
I bought a BMC CDA air filter and I am very happy with it, I can really feel the difference.
But I am sure that I can improve the performance with a better air flow between the exterior and the filter.
I put the BMC CDA air filter in place of the original OEM one, but I am looking for a better air flow there.
Does anybody have an idea?? thank you very much for your response..

either a hood w/ vents, or get a CAI which would route the filter to a different location, theres also that grill cover w/ the duct on it that goes in front of the snorkle

BMC CDA! Cool!! [;)]
The best air filter in production to me. Its expensive, but its very good
Try to pass a tube in the exit of the intake to the lower grill between the battery and the left light... Iīve seen that somewhere, but i donīt know where. Great mod thougth!
Do u have more mods?[:p] Iīm from portugal, and i find very hard to buy anithing to the ST170 [xx(]

hey 127 Boy.
I am from Switzerland and here I can find some good stuff for this car. It depends what kind of mods you are looking for...
I hate body tuning!!! But i like improving the performance of my car.
These are my changements for now:
- Bilstein PSS9 (one of the best shock absorber on the market)
- CSC exhaust system
- Front Anti Roll Bar ( picture taken before the installation)
- BMC Carbon Dynamic Airbox
- Bridgestone Potenza RE 050 A

What a pretty Carbox Airbox
Yes you are right I am very happy with this Airbox!
The filter has the same form than the cylender carbon box.
I let you imagine the resonance and the sonority. It s not too loud, but you really here the noise of the motor! It is gorgeous!
I advise everybody who wants to buy a filter to take this one!
Have a look on the main site of BMC:

Real cool!
Iīm a fan of performance too, and I donīt like bodykits.
Iīm thinking in de-catting, but i canīt find nothing here! Only supersprint has exaust system for the ST, but they donīt have a de-cat pipe!!! I was hoping to find a de-cat pipe to fit with my (almost done) cat-back "home-made" exaust system for track-day use! ;)
