Somebody knows if there's a difference between dyno my car in 3th gear rather than 4th?

usually its done so the gear ratio is 1:1 or as close as it can get to it.

I like to do most cars in 3rd si I do most tuning in 3rd then finish with a 4th gear pull, 4th will show a little more HP/TQ

Dynoing in 3rd gear your not beating on it as long so less abuse to the engine

from my expirience on a dyno jet a 4th gear pull showed a little less powah!

i have a dyno class at school and my teacher said its best closest to a 1:1 ratio, so whatever your car is suited, the SVT is 4th gear

I made a 3th gear pull on a dyno jet I will do a 4th gear pull and post some results

yeah i showed a small gain in 4th vs 3rd. the only thing i would use 3rd for is on a stock tuned car with the factory speed limiter, 4th goes beyond it
