Thankfully it didn't stick in the open position. I'd take it in, but I can't get it to do it agian. When it hapened I was getteing ready to move from a stop. When I pushed the throttle it felt as though my foot was hitting the brake bc it wouldn't go down. I looked down and saw that my foot was no where near the brake. I pushed harder and then it relaesed. It happened 2 more times and now it's fine. I thought maybe the throttle plate was getting hung up, but I haven't heard of anyone else having the same issues.

Any advice?

Seems to me, SVT4ME had this problem, except it was on the highway, not from a stop.
Just a sec.....checking....
Here's (http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16524) the thread.

It'll take a bit of reading through that thread, but here's what it was:
"The tech fixed the prob. in about two minutes.
One of the two cables (not sure which) at the T/B bracket had gotten snagged and was holding the throttle plate open,....."

my 03 Euro came with a sticky throttle body, it was a bear getting off at a light without sounding like an idiot. I'd have to break the throttle loose from idle then keep it from getting stuck again. One time I was in the middle lane between a Corvette and a WRX, trying to keep my car off idle, well those guys heard me revving & sounding like an idiot, just as the light turned green, my throttle got stuck again and I got smoked in stereo. Glad that's fixed.
