Any new word on the new F2usa store opening up.. or any one know what its going to be called... im about ready to blow up a country to get my hands on the RS kit...

He hasn't heard the news....

Well i knew they were gone i watch the last 6 months of F2's life and seen the update in the website and then its quick sudden death. all in all good or bad (he is from the OC area and i would have drove to his store front from Yuma Az every weekend to get my part if need be) he had parts that really arent out there. sure as far as motor work goes you have FSWorks (thank god they will never go under) and well no one has the RS kit, unless E.D. moves it up on the development list and i dont think its very high right now.

But the word on the street was the biz was sold and the new ower would be up and running in a while... I gave it like 6 months and some one would have posted but nothing... We didnt know what they would do if they left the inventory or drop it all and start new...

I just wish the owner R what ever his name is... would have told his secret of where he had the damn kit made.... for that i will call him a jerk, but not dealing with the guy my self as a customer i cant say much...

I haven't heard any news on the new company but hope they still support the focus community.


One a side note; my F2 turbo kit has performed flawlessly and its sad so many people knocked it without giving it a chance.

Any one in the OC area or San D been by there.. come on some one has to wanted to know whats there now...

the new owners are these guys.. www.gp-werks.com i have spoken with them a few times, the guys name is tony and very good at responding quick. he has some already made panels that he got in the sale....

i looked into purchasing the molds but for someone that isnt fully in the business it is a huge undertaking, there are liek 24 or 26 molds in all

even if its 26 pc mold for all the parts or what ever... it would take me say a month to make 1 kit.. still to me to put 1 kit a month out a year is worth it to the focus people.. 12 a year is better than 0 for life.......
hell if i could get a kit and make my own mold, then a kit out of fiberglass alone i would be happy. would take me about 3 to 4 months working on the side is my guess.

I can't believe how late to the party I am on this...
I used to check that first website on an almost daily basis. I got hit with some reality at some point and and had to devote my cash to something stupid, like dental work or an emergency-room visit, and forgot to keep tabs on 'em... I was on the floor kicking and punching like a petulant child last night when I read the posts in this thread!
I wrote an email to the new company (thanks for the info mikebontoft +1 rep!)... Feeble attempt, but DAMN! I should've ordered the front, if NOTHING else, and gone on a ramen diet while the fallout came down around me... I would've at least HAD the damn thing! What a shame...

strange... I just looked up the F2 kit again and TADA!!!!! seems that the F2 Motorsports web site is back online.. or its still up.. now some one has to be paying for it to be on a server some where...... sooooooo... WTF.. .where is it and why cant we get it....

I know they used to have an intake for the Fusion but are now dufuncked apparently. The Fusion people had nothing bad to say about the intake itself, but the service was another story.
